5 Things You Should Do Before Sleep

This is a case which happens with most of us especially employed ones. We work whole day, give our best until every cell of our body gives up. We come home at night and fall on the bed hoping a peaceful sleep and a fresh morning.

But do we actually get a peaceful sleep? No, and that`s why most of us get up in the morning even more tired.

To make sure you sleep peacefully at night and get up lively in the morning, here are five things suggested to do before you go to sleep.

1: Drink some milk:

Yes, drink some milk. It may be any kind of milk e.g., almond, valerian, malted but drink some milk. It would be more suitable to drink warm milk. It will help you to get over the fatigue and tiredness of the whole day. Melatonin in the milk regulates your sleep and gets the stress off you.

2: Meditate or Listen to Music:

Our mind is a tough guy and in order to keep it calm, we have to use either meditation or music as an instrument. So before going to sleep, meditate and focus on good spiritual feelings arising in you. This can help in getting good sleep with sweet dreams.

The other way is to listen some calm music, maybe a classical masterpiece. Music is the food for soul. Have your soul fed well.

3: Try to Sleep Early:

Early doesn`t mean to sleep at 7 pm, but try to sleep before 10 pm. If you are up late in the night, your mind slows down and falls into a state of dizziness which ultimately spoils your sleep.

Children should sleep between 8 and 9 pm, teenagers may sleep between 9 to 10 pm while adults should go to bed before 11 pm.

4: Your bed:

5: Regulate your sleep cycle:

You have to sleep enough but not more than enough. An eight hour sleep is usually sufficient to fulfil our mental and physical needs but you can add or short an hour from it. When you have made a sleep cycle, follow it strictly.
